my brother has been having his friend living her for almost two years now and he didnt even ask for permission. his friend is 21, no job, was in college but dropped out, eats up every damn thing, brings people to my house without asking anyone. how much should my parents be charging him a week for free heat/air condition, water, food, bed, and everything else u need to survive.

Yes. This is not a situation that will promote maturity and responsibility. Rent should start ASAP and at a realistic level (not too cheap). Along with rent, there are chores that must get done in every household, because that is just plain living. This will make for a better atmosphere in the house in the end.

When I lived with my mom after college, I paid her rent $350 per month, maintained my own phone and paid half the utilities. If you are living with someone and you are underage, you should be helping out monetarily, be it with groceries or utilities or rent or work around the house. You HAVE to contribute.

It's only fair and it will help you grow up.

Your parents should ask him to move out. Your brother is out of line by letting him stay.

this guy sees a golden opportunity to sponge off your parents, and while it is very wrong it is up to them to put this looser out to the curb. best of luck
