How did the empires Liao, Jin, and Tanggut in Northern and Central Asia differ from Song China.?

Song China was the government setup by Han Chinese and it was like the central government of China at that time. However, it didn't control all the land China nowadays has. Liao, Jin, and Tanggut were all small governments setup by some minority Chinese tribes, mostly make living by hunting. They had been in war against each other to seek control of more land since the beginning of Song dynasty.
