Like most religions, there are wide difference between various divisions in Islam. Remember, Christians have three main divisions (Roman Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox), and Islam has at least two major divisions (Shiite and Sunni). And, to quote a rabbi that was teaching a class I took, "We all have our crazies".
In fact, you'll find a huge difference between the Islam practiced in Lebanon vs that practices in the USA vs that practiced in Yemen.
Generally, Islam views Jesus as a prophet, and not as "God come down in human form." So, you have that one right.

There are more than two sects of Islam. In fact there are like seventy five. Im an Ahmadi muslim. There are sunnis and shias and wahabis and many more.Basically, The crazy muslims who bomb themselves and crash airplanes twist everything from the quran to jihad. The Quran clearly states "kill not thyselves" or you will be punished. and also not to hurt innocent people.what do they do? bomb themselves in groups of innocent people. The government and militant "muslims" teach this crap violence. I honestly have no idea of how and why they think they will get 72 virgins if they kill themselves. That is not definately not in the Quran. They think they are martyrs but i think they are idiots.
As for the Jesus part, all muslims believe (or are supposed to believe) he was a great prophet and not the son of God and who did not die on the cross but died a natural death and science backs it up.
Oh and i appreciate you not calling the crazy terrorists radicals instead of Islamic terrorists.

Ok, I'll take each question as its own. Trace the bloodline and you do end up with the same person.
SOME Jewish people so claim that the land is holy land and God gave the land to the Jews. Muslims can not say the land was given to them by God, but they are fighting because they are OPPRESSED! They have been kicked out of their homes by some mad people claiming that the Palestinians houses actually belong to the Jews!!! Which faith is madder I hear you say? Again Palestinians can not claim that the land was given to them by God, but they will fight for their rights.
Now, radical Islam: This is a name given to those who fight for POLITICAL reasons, no religious beliefs are involved. This is an important point that you need to understand. Does Islam teach the killings of innocent civilians? NO. Does Islam teach self defence? YES. London tube bombings, very very wrong. Killing an Israeli soldier, very right, as the Soldier is not an innocent civilian.
Read these quotes from the Quran to further understand my points.
With regards to those who believe in one God, Jews, Christians and Muslims:
[2:62] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.
[29:46] Do not argue with the people of the scripture (Jews, Christians, and Muslims) except in the nicest possible manner - unless they transgress - and say, "We believe in what was revealed to us and in what was revealed to you, and our god and your god is one and the same; to Him we are submitters."
Basic Law Regulating Relations With Unbelievers (i.e. anyone who doesn't call themselves a Muslim, Christian or Jew.)
[60:8] GOD does not enjoin you from befriending those who do not fight you because of religion, and do not evict you from your homes. You may befriend them and be equitable towards them. GOD loves the equitable.
[60:9] GOD enjoins you only from befriending those who fight you because of religion, evict you from your homes, and band together with others to banish you. You shall not befriend them. Those who befriend them are the transgressors.
Finally
[7:199] You shall resort to pardon, advocate tolerance, and disregard the ignorant.

Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet but not the Son of God or the Messiah (most likely because Messiah would make the Jews God's chosen people until the Great Commission). They refer to him as Isa and teach he was a devout man but just a man.
The Muslims originally came from Saudi Arabia not Israel. The whole Muslim rule over the Middle East comes from the Islamic Empire and the Ottoman Empire when Muslims controlled most all lands stretching from Afghanistan to Spain at one time.
Islamic extremeists view Jihad as a campaign to make a heaven on Earth via an Islamic empire where sharia law is the law of the land. Moderate Muslims and more liberal sections of Islam view Jihad as an internal struggle within oneself. Much of the extreme view stems from an animosity towards western culture that started in 1920's when oil was discovered in the middle east and exacerbated by the fact that modern Israel is the most economically powerful and advanced nation in the middle east and Israel has no oil.
The Koran teaches that Muslims should abstain from contact with non-Muslims if possible however should an infidel come to them for aide or if an infidel is in their home they should treat them with care and protect them. Islam also teaches that it is permissable to have slaves but blessed is he who frees them.
Jesus and Mohammed are very different. Jesus was a man of peace from the start while Mohammed was a warlord and bandit in his early life. There are plenty of historical documents dictating both men did indeed exist however the question is which one do you think was of God?

Jews and Arabs have a shared ancestry and are located nearby. But Arabs, because of their nomadic life, had no scripture. However, their Jewish ancestry was constantly reminded of by the Jews, who lived nearby and since first century A.D. moved in large quantities to Arabia, and held a considerable political power here. The stone-worship of arabs became connected with Biblical history (because there was no other recorded history for arabs, and there was the very strong stone-worship, the Kaaba, so it was natural to exult the latter, to which the Jews were not objecting).
To Arabs the Muhammed is their main and only source, they are blind to authority of other prophets he supposedly recognized.

Muslims change the story and say that it was actually Ismael that was to be sacrificed, and they also change the location. The Bible specifically says "Issac" and "Mount Moriah". Muslims claim Palestine belongs to THEM because of a false birthright. Their holy land is Saudi Arabia, NOT Palestine. The sooner they admit it, the closer they will be to fostering peace in the middle east.

I dunno if Ishmael is the father of the islamic tribe but, the one where non-muslims must be eliminated is actually in the quran. Muslims hate the israelites because they are jews, and they are NON-MUSLIM (not all muslims are this way.) the 2 tribes are of the same faith but is a little different. (sunni and shiite.)
look up sunni muslim and shiite muslim in the dictionary to see what they believe in, and what seperates them.
