that depends on the minister\priest.

I am an ordained minister (Celtic Pagan)

I make about forty thousand a year. from a full time job in a warehouse.

from being a minister i make nothing. it is not my place to charge others to teach them about the gods. i cannot sell information that i was given freely, and i cannot accept anything but hospitality from someone that needs a service preformed.

hospitality means a place to sleep if i must spend the night, and food and drink while i am at their house.

it could include travel expenses but i do not travel great distances so it is not an issue with me.

Just like in the rest of the world it depends on which organization/denomination, and the size of the church they serve, and the responsibility they carry. Once can be an associate minister, a senior minister, a chaplain...

His salary, which I'm sure is a pittance, plus whatever he can skim off the collection without the Church noticing. That's why the minister is always pushing that tithing so much, got to get the money for the new car and some whores to supplement the attentions of his frigid wife.

payment is set by the church board, and may be a small stipend, or a hefty salary. it may include a residence and a vehicle as well as other benefits such as medical and dental. for some churches, the priest or pastor may not recieve anything and has to earn his living through services to parishioners such as weddings and funerals.
