Pilates... I do the Windsor Pilates Bun and Thigh Sculpting... It burns the first couple times you do it but it works darn good for sculpting good muscles and losing inches from you thighs butt and hips.

Leg press and squats.... To get rid of the dimples on your butt you have to work out your muscles on your butt. I find that also a great workout for your legs is to go up and down when squadding... just looks a little stupid. What also helps for cellulite (thats what those dimples are, not damaged skin), is to take a warm shower and immediately after you showered with warm water switch it to super duper cold water (ouch) and shower off your butt and legs for approximately 2 minutes. I had mine removed by a plastic surgeon... was less annoying.

lots of really good sex. it'll help the thighs marginally, but you'll hardly notice.
seriously, it depends on what you want to accomplish. weights will turn the fat to muscle, but not necessarily reduce the size-guessing that's not what you want, huh. So, my best advice is walking. This is the lowest form of workout for the legs. the general rule to tone is high reps/low weight. this will burn the fat from the legs, cause that's what's being worked the most. BUT, IT AIN'T NECESSARILY FAST. You're trying to isolate a specific part of the body. walking will not guarantee results, but it's your best chance of reducing inches from the legs. Plus, it'll firm up the legs-which will reduce size.

Besides these answers, try adding ankle weights - lay on one side lifting the leg with the weight, up and down. If you go to a Gym, use the Adductor/Abductor machine.
