I have to write an essay with an arguementative/persuesive theme. I wrote one on controlling the animal population by trying to persuede people to spay and nueter their pets. Do you think that is a good topic for the essay?

Make it clear in your thesis, and yes, this would make a good argument. "Everyone should spay and neuter their pets."

Yes, the key to this theme is to choose a topic that you feel strongly about. By feeling strongly about an issue you will find it easier to write a paper. The key is to make sure your arguments have evidence backing, without backing it will seem solely emotional. Emotional statements are seen as irrational and not very thought out.

The topic selected is s good one.....But you would need to decide as would you want to be for the motion or against the motion.....As everything as a negative or positive so you would need to decide for yourself.....Also please make sure u knonw what you are writing so that the whole essay would be clea to the reader....
