It's not so much about who's gay, but about who's legalistic. Evil(Law) Concupiscence has a way of backfiring on those who law impute sin and death to others for the hell of it. Such a blame game usually results in induction into the hall of shame, not fame.
The Evangelicals gloated when it happened to the Roman Catholic priests, and the Roman Catholic priests gloated when it happened to Swaggart and to Baker.
I would all who call themselves Christ-ian be more like Christ: the end of the law: Romans 10:4, thereby the Saviour of the world: John 4:42.
You too can have partiality from an impartial God is a lie. Not to mention it's an oxy-MORON with a BAD ending, kinda like grace(life) + law(death) is a DEAD end.
Ministers of Satan(Law)? Their end shall be according to their works: 2Cor 11:15. Their end? Hebrews 7:23 describes the end of law priests who add law worketh wrath to grace is sufficient: they are not suffered to continue (the human race), by reason of death.

I did not know who he was until this came to light. But checking out his pictures and online videos (him with Dawkins) he sure looked gay. I'm not surprised.
