Maybe there's more to it than that. Check into it for yourself, and find out.

It was not passed down to me as a a child I became saved as a teen, and my mother never stepped inside a church, except on holidays, but that doesn't count. I have faith because I have always felt there was something else above in control. And i have seen miraculous things thru my faith. I encourage you to try a little bit of Jesus for yourself.

The bible was written over a period of 1500 years, by 40 different authors, in 3 different languages, and on 3 different continents. Whats amazing about the bible is that it agrees on all controversial subjects. It's amazing because it's pretty hard to find just 10 people to agree on many controversial subjects.

Its not a story book.

You know, as a child my parents did not read the Bible to me. They practiced in their religion, and it was one that I didn't totally agree with. I started reading the Bible on my own when I was 35, and it is the best step I have ever taken. My children do see me reading it all the time, and it is up to them to follow my example or not. I have faith because of my life experiences when I didn't have faith versus now that I do.

My parents were not Christians so I came to my faith on my own after years of searching and reading and comprehending on my own. And I am comfortable with my faith and the choices it allows me to make everyday. I like the path it leads me on, and the ability to treat others as I would have them treat me. If you do not believe then I applaud your decision for making your own choice and hope you will at least respect mine enough to not ridicule me for it. Thank you and have an angel touched day.....
