What exactly is the holy spirit is it the goodness inside of us is it something up in heaven i dont know?

tell me all about it cause i was walking down the alley and i was wondering what the holy spirit was i dont really think it is wrong for not knowing i mean i kind of know i know that it represents god if i am correct however i then said to myself i wonder if its the spirits in the peoples souls in heaven so please tell me I dont think it is blasphemy for not knowing

It is the Spirit of God. It is also God himself, since the Holy Spirit has a mind and a will, and is part of the trinity.

According to the bible it is God's dynamic force, or power. In Acts chapter 2, the holy spirit was reported to have filled a house, resulting in the occupants being able to instanteously speak foreign language. Jesus was able to perform miracles because of the holy spirit that was given him when he was baptized at the Jordan river.

All these indicate that the holy spirit is God's dynamic force or power. Sometimes though the Bible uses a figure of speech--personification--to describe the holy spirit as a teacher. But, this does not mean that the holy spirit is a person. Otherwise, the bible would contradict itself.

It's God's Holy Spirit that's always on earth, the Holy Spirits fills your heart, it's the spiritual force of God.

For me the Spirit fills my Spirit when I am in the mood for doing good deeds,When I'm in the Word of God, usually when you feel compassion for some one, close to God, or when God is working through you, when you please God....... it's a feeling of love, it's warm, happy, and you feel like greeting everyone at the Church door.
You'll feel it someday.
