I want to ask a boy to a dance. He is one of my friends, and i just want to go as friends. whats the best way to ask??????

There is no better way to ask a guy to a dance then this: "Hey, do you want to go to the dance with me?"

I'm serious, too. When you ask him that, let him know that you only want to as just friends before he makes his decision. If you don't tell him about the friends part, he will most likely think of it as a date.

Just ask him if he would be interested in going to a dance with you. If you don't have a boyfriend, tell this guy that you just want to dance and there are no strings attached. Honesty is the only way.

just be as casual as possible
go up to him, get a conversation going and just say, "hey dude, are you going to the dance? we should go together."
and if he says he has a date or hes not going just be like, "oh thats cool, well anyway...." and start back talking like nothing ever happened.
