It's definitely worth it,and yes it hurts a bit,but if you pop an advil about a half hour before it dulls the pain a bit.And when it starts to grow back make sure you use a soft exfoliating sponge to help prevent ingrown hairs.

It is worth it and it does hurt--it can even cause bleeding at the site of the hair follicles. But the results are great. Unfortunately, though, hair can start to appear again right away because only 30% of the hair at any given time is active. So if there are hairs that were not active the day that you got the wax--or which were just broken off rather than ripped out by the root, they could start to show the very next day.

I've also tried laser hair removal and it works well for several months, but then hairs start to come back in... maybe I just didn't get enough treatments, but the next thing I'm going to try is electrolysis which is supposed to definitely work because it kills the hair follicle--you can only have so many hair follicles and once you kill them all they're gone!

If you're not happy with your wax after you get it you might want to try one of the other methods. I found that the laser removal wasn't too bad--it hurt on my upper lip but when the doctor (I recommend only getting it done by a doctor, not just a tech) used lots of gel it didn't hurt at all on other areas.

Good luck getting hair-free! :)
