i told this kid, we'll call him Bob, that i liked him. But bob had a girlfriend, so i moved on. Now i like this kid, we'll call him Luke. I really really like Luke, but luke and bob are friends and i am afraid i will come off as kind of a ho. Well not that bad. I am pretty sure Luke likes me, but i don't know what to do. I am afraid of putting myself out there again and get hurt. What do i do?

Guys do it ALL the time...put themselves out there and risk rejection and hurt feelings...

If you like Luke, then go for it...it doesn't make you a 'ho' because he's the friend of a guy you previously expressed interest in, any more than it would make you a 'ho' if you now liked some guy that had no ties to anyone you already knew.

Take a chance...you'll regret it if you don't and always wonder "what if"...if he's not interested, then you're no worse off than you are now (right?), but if he IS interested, then WOO HOO! Bonus plan! :)

Well if you never had sex with Bob and he had a girlfriend but you and Luke have found you like each other that doesn't make you a ho as you say. He didn't want you but his friend does so it's his loss. On the other hand if you did have sex then you know the two of them will talk being friends so you should get away from them both.

Did you do anything with Bob? If you just talked to him but didn't actually do anything (like flirt heavily or make a move), you have done nothing wrong and are definitely not a ho.

If you like Luke, then tell him. Or at least ask him out somewhere.

If anyone says anything, and you feel like you have to justify yourself, then say that you were interested in Bob, but as soon as you found out he had a girlfriend, you backed off out of respect for him and his girlfriend, and moved on.

If you were a ho, you would have ignored the fact that he had a girlfriend and gone for him anyway, even in front of her. Any girl that does that should get what she deserves.

If you think he likes you don't hold back. Who cares if he's Bob's friend. Just because Bob had a girlfriend doesn't mean he intended to hurt your feelings when you said you liked him. He had a girlfriend and you didn't know, happens to all of us. I would suggest that you find out if Luke has a girlfriend first though, before you let him know.

Well, if you really like "Luke" and "Bob" had/has a girlfriend, I don't think Bob will have a problem with it. Luke might recognize you, and tell Bob, but if he's really doesn't care, well, he won't do anything. I hope things work out with Luke, though.

I understand where you are coming from, you are alittle confused on who you like, just being honest. I think you really need to sit back and look at the situation and try to figure out what to tell bob, when luke tells bob that you like him. It may not be the best thing to approach luke because he will be confused on what is going on, how can you like someone that he is cool with and then like him. be careful

First, if you don't do anything with them then you don't have to worry about being called a hoe - if you think you're not, then you're not. Secondly, when I first started dating guys they would break up with me left and right and it really did hurt. But you have to take chances out there and the more experienced you are about it the more you'll know who not to go after. Taking chances can often be regretful but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger! If you are sure that Luke likes you then don't run away from the opportunity, carpe diem!

Sorry there sweetie pie but putting you self out there and getting hurt is how we all learn to get through life. Now bob had his chance and now Luke has his chance so good luck and enjoy.
