I have two huskies. One is a ball dog, one is not. We used to give her tennis balls (she's a great fetcher!) but she chewed them and they would crack in half. But the size was perfect for her to catch on the fly. So now we use racquetballs. They are more expensive but last a heck of a lot longer.
We tried a Kong, but they have a weird shape and she wouldn't play with it. Hers have to be round. Also, she likes the green racquetballs (the more expensive kind) instead of the blue ones. Talk about fussy! Even though my dog wouldn't play with a Kong, I hear they are great toys.

Well I would recommend that you get your Husky a Kong. They're available at most any pet store. It's an odd shaped ball that you put treats inside and it takes dogs hours to get them all out. This is great if your gone for long hours. Hope it helps!

My Sibes will kill a tennis ball within five minutes.
I recommend something called the "Best Ball." My Sibes love theirs!
They are hard plastic balls that come in different sizes. They are virtually indestructable (even for a husky!) and are lots of fun for the dogs to play with. One of my dogs pushes it around while growling at it--so funny!
I just did a google search for "best ball dog toy"--several vendors come up including Amazon.

Great virtually indestructable options are Buddy Glow Balls (brand name) many sizes and types, Kongs (treat holding kinds or just balls made by the company) or tennis balls (note: these are the easiest of the 3 to destroy).
Good luck and remember to wear your husky out with plenty of play time!
To whoever said bowling balls I hope you were joking!

Our dog loves the Kong, too. He also has a soft, medium-sized soccer ball made specifically for pets.

Jolly balls are great. They have a handle and my dog just loves to grab the handle in her mouth and throw the darn thing.
