I have been with my boyfriend for over nine months, and I love him, so much. But sometimes I feel like I care too much, that I put more into the relationship than he does, and that he is losing his feelings for me. I mean we are only in high school, but i've been thinking more and more about it, and he's the one that I want. We have days that are just awesome, like beyond words. And then we have some days that are just sucky. For example, he will barely talk to me, I will have to start conversations with him, or we will just sit by each other and not talk at all, just silence. He claims it's just that he's always quiet, but I know him better than that, and I just don't know how to handle this sort of situation, because If there's something bothering him I want him to be open with me, but since we are so young I don't want to push him into talking to me if he doesn't want to. On the other hand, I guess it makes no sense to be with someone that you can't talk to. What should I do?

Generally men are MUCH less talkative than women; especially at your age. If you insist that the talks, and interpret his silence as problematic, you will soon ruin your relationship with him.
I
recommend you enjoy your bouts of non-verbal communications.
When you're feeling talkative and he's not, find a girl friend to chat with.

Everything seems like such a big deal in highscool. You will realize that there are plenty of men out there( or at least a few) that will give you the time and attention that you want. Move on quickly, don't waste another minuet.
