My dog recently started eating her's and our other dog's poop and it's making her sick and throw up all over the house. Anyone know what to do?

I had the same problem with one of my german shepherds. Give both of your dogs a Deter pill; you can get them at any pet store and it's like $10 for 60 pills; they work wonders and after about 2 weeks you won't usually have to give her any more! The deter makes them stay away from the stools!

If you look in some catalogs like jbpets or care-a-lot you could probably find a product, that they can eat and they won't eat the poo anymore, untill then everytime your dog poos pick the poo up so your dog can't eat it when your not looking.

Dogs usually eat poop because they are lacking nutrients in their diet. I would try to give her healthy foods meant for dogs or take her to the vet and ask him if he knows any food with better nutrients that you could feed your dog. Your vet may also know if anything else is wrong.

Get your dog some forbid from your veterinarian, you sprinkle the powder on his/her food and it makes their poop taste worse than it probably does in the first place. I've also heard that putting meat tenderizer in their food, has the same effect as if you were using forbid. Also spend more time with your dog, he/she are probably bored, so they are lashing out in a disgusting manner.

i read in a dog book that when dog's eat poo its because theyre not getting certian nutrition in their diet.
i recomed taking your darling dog to a vet and geting some tests done and see what you dog needs to have, to get the nutrition theyre not getting.

you should take her outside every hour and clean up the poop before she eats it or put a muzzle on her when she goes outside

your dog is leaving undigested food in her feces...same with other dogs...my dog did the same thing, its gross but thats what dogs do. consider it savings on feeding her regular dog food ..hahah
