I'm assuming you're looking for resturant ideas? If so here are some of my husband and my favorite resturants (he's taken me to a few for our anniversaries)

Coco Pazzo
http://www.cocopazzochicago.com/
By far some of the best Italian I've ever had, it's pricey but well worth the money! There was an appetizer of calamari, shrimp and something else that were quickly fried and served in a paper bag (sounds strange I know!) but it was phenomenal!

Topobolompo

Wonderful, Wonderful Unique mexican dishes that are out of this world. I highly recommend the tasting menu paired with the tasting wine flight. It's delicious!

Tru

The food here is an art...that's all I can say!

Happy Anniversary or Birthday!

If it was an anniversary i would go maybe to the beach. If u dont live near a beach u should go to the park if there is not alot of kids. If it is summer time go to the lake and have a nice day picnic. If it is a nice day then wait til the moon is out and have a nice moonlight picnic with music, flowers, somewhere pretty and quiet like on top of a hill. if it is ur birthday and ur a girl then go shopping! Maybe the next day u can invite ur family over and friends and have a grownup party. I have more maybe i will email u the rest if u want

You should go on the Odyssey Cruise. It docks out of Navy Pier, and you get a 4 course meal while the boat cruises around Lake Michigan. It's very romantic and a great time!

We just purchased our house in Northern California and I think that classifies us as being House poor.

We started dating 6 years ago and he propsed 2 years ago.

We were startving college students when we started dating and we'd take late rollerblading rides for 3-4 hours skating through quite a number of cities... that was always fun. that's when we discovered that we're not just IT geeks but that we're also both real outgoing.

That paved the way to trips to Yosemite and Mt Diablo. :)

Wow, we've spent our anniversaries at numerous places... one of our favortie spots was driving through 17 mile drive next to pebble beach CA. the beaches out there are beautiful to look at.

After our stroll along the beach and coves we found a cozy French Canadian Restaurant in Carmel (1 minute south of Pebble Beach). Pricey but so good and the ambiance and food are great.

On our 4 year anniversery the day after his 24th, I threw him a birthday party at Bucca Di Beppo with about 30 of our friends and he proposed to me in front of everyone. That was a good anniversery/Birthday. That same evening we went to a club in San Francisco, 1015, so that we could see one of our favorite artists Grooverider from the UK. :) We had an amazing time and didn't leave the club 'til 4am.

This last Birthday Anniversery was spent with our friends for a nice cozy dinner at our home... they made wonderful sushi with fresh tuna and amazing unagi... they also brought in the cake that was totally delicious.

On our anniversery, we gave that to his family. they don't see us much and they wanted to treat us out to a night at cattlemen's steak house... great prime rib!

Okay, so most of our anniversaries really are spent with eachother, family, or very close friends.

Dinners out at a restaurant neither of you have been to but have amazing ratings on it can't be bad (check yelp.com ratings first), I like making sure that we're always going someone new every year... somewhere new for at least one of us. this year was his first year at the San Francisco Zoo. Four years ago was my first trip to Yosemite. The new place each year keeps things nice and fresh.

Now that we live near Orlando, we go to Disney World (either Epcot or MGM) and eat at one of the restaurants there. It always makes us feel special.

I like the Japanese places where they cut the food in front of you like Domo 77 or Benihanas.
