There is a girl I like at my school who sometimes says hi to me and when I look at her she makes that whole eye contact flirting smile thing. I asked her friend if she liked me and she said no, but she's that kinda girl who you can tell when she lies, but I'm not totally sure if she was lieing or not, and I don't really wanna ask the girl I like becuse she's really sweet and nice and I don't wanna make things awkward between us. I really don't know what to do, any help would be appreciated.

Why not just befriend her and get to know her better as a friend. If you do that she will also get to know you better and somewhere in there you will find out how much she likes you.

Friends do lie sometimes because they dont want so guy taking her best friend away but maybe you should talk to the girl maybe get to know her alittle!!!! But it does sound like she likes you alot!!!!!!

just get to know her and be a good friend. when you know each other better, if you're still interested, just ask her out for a casual date. no pressures, no worries. friends first is a good way to start a relationship.
