If a toddler swallows a contact lens, is that dangerous? Will it digest? Please help!!

since theyre so thin it probablly shouldnt be a problem

As long as the little one didn't swallow the cleaner or any chemicals that could be toxic, and if it has passed the wind pipe (in other words, didn't choke on it), the lens will pass and should come out the other end in a day or two at most.

It should probably come out whole but call the Poison Control Center. They will give you free and CORRECT advice.

call the poison control center anything to do with a toddler can b if its plastic id say no glass yes call NOW

you'll be fine, your body will process the contact accordingly and you won't have anything negative happen. By the way, why did you have your contact in your mouth?

it is fine it is just like corn it stays in ti shape but it is soo small it won't matter. beleive me
