I love cats. I have one that is 7yrs old, had her since she was a baby. My b/f doesnt like the idea that our daughter and me kinda took in a cat about a month ago. Well he rescued it off the roof of the shed, we gave her food and water, then a few days later it started to rain really bad, no stop for a few days. So I brought her in on the back pourch to get out of the cold and rain. Later before he knew it we had a new cat, took her to the vet to make sure she was safe to bring in and be around my other cat. And we thought she was a ktten around 1yr but she is a 3 yr old cat. She is so playful and fun to be around (well not when she head butts you while you are trying to sleep). I would get more, but b/f says no, and really the house we are renting we are only aloud 1 cat 1 dog, but they are indoors, so the landlord doesnt say anything about it.

Very independent, and loving at the same time...and I have 2 now.
I had a dog, and the dog listens more and is more protective.

Cats are much easier, and I don't have to walk them outside first thing in the morning and last thing at night, especially in the snow...compared to when I had a dog for 13 years...a german shorthair!

Remember...they say guys that don't like cats are bad lovers, and...hmmm I found that to be true! I think it's because the guy considers himself better than the cat!.and the cat knows he's not!

nothin better then hearing a cat purr.i have 5 myself and would have more but your only allowed so many by law.did have 12 at one point(when i had no kids),i used to take in strays and unwanted cats and different animals.i used to work for a foster home but had to give it up because i had kids and they were afraied that the kids would get hurt.but if you know animals as well as i do you'll know which ones will make a good pet.they are easy to train but it's hard to keep them out of the places you don't really want them in like if you have any plants.but if you are thinking about getting a cat, good choice of a first pet.

Love them. Always have always will. They're always there when you need a friend, they always seem to know when you feel down and they try to do what they can to cheer you up. They're really fun to cuddle with. And you don't have to go out in the cold and snow a million times a day when they have to pee or poop. Only when you change the litter box do you have to go outside for them. If you get a mouse in the house, (and with my cat spiders and bugs too) he'll catch it.

Cats are wonderful pets! Everyone should have one.

I really like cats. In fact, I have three. My cat that I own, Chocolate, I had her since I was 8. Now I am 11. I know I am young, but my dad used his credit card to pay for this. But anyways, lets talk about cats again. Chocolate is now 3 turning 4 soon. She is a tortie cat. I have to other cats, Oliver and Belle. Belle is pronounce like Bell. We like to call her Belly because she is kinda plump. Oliver is the oldest animal we have in our house. She is 8 years old, and everyone still loves her. I remeber all of my cats just like the fuzzy kittens they were just like yesterday...

I love cats. We have two, and they are just the perfect little pets. They are such good company, and fun to play with. And cats are very smart, too! I do love dogs and all animals, really, but cats are nice to have in the house.

I really don't mind cats, but I really don't like them in the house. I use to live on a farm and had many outdoor cats. I feed them and loved them, but not in my house. I am more of a little dog person.

i heard and old saying once that says "people who don't like cats must have been mice in their previous life" !!!! i adore them! they are wonderfull companions and will show you a great deal of respect and love if they are shown it first! i have 4 wonderful fur children and 3 of them i moved from california to virginia... it is sad that so many of these beautiful animals are put down every day across the country. they can be very intelligent and very loyal. to me its kinda like a human kid if you are a bad parent and are mean and always say rude things to them, dont take care of them and never show them any affection or love, what kind of cat do you think that makes them turn out to be??? a mean hateful cat that dosen't want to be picked up or cuddled and never purrs. but of course not ALL people fell this way . but if you don't like them that's fine that's no excuse to act like their not a living breathing creature.... sorry!!! nice question !
