I highly doubt it. Throat sores can be caused by anything. I had one last week.

I guess, according to that^, it's possible.

This may seem irrelivant to your issue but it's similar and can explain it.
I lived on a farm with horses. They have a strong concentration of amona in their urin. If you dont' clean a horses stall out it can cause irritation of their upper airways causing them to cough. Same with cat urin. If you have an unventalated area and a high concentration of urin, it can iritate yours or others throats. Try to clean it up to reduce the iritation and open a window or door to let some fresh air in untill you can locate it.

Well Honey, It's my guess you've got a sore throat and now blame the cat. Gargle with warm salt water or peroxide, don't swallow. If it persists see your doctor. Leave the cat alone.

Dunno about bacteria, but cat pee contains ammonia, which if not toxic, is at least a serious irritant.
You can shine a black light around to find the source if you wanna get that cleaned up.

pee is usually sterile, unless your cat was ill I'd say your cat is innocent.
