The answers you have been receiving are all wrong!!! Sunni's believe in the Quran and Sunnah (hence the name Sunni). Shiite's are a sect who consider themselves Muslim, while they are not considered Muslims by anyone except themselves because they reject certain aspects of the Quran and sunnah. All true Muslims are "sunni" Muslims because it is a requirement to follow the Quran and sunnah. Muslims don't usually label themselves "sunni" because there are no sects in Islam. Your're either Muslim or you aren't. There is only one Islam. There aren't different groups that have different beliefs within Islam.

Nothing. Each one thinks they know the way Islam should be and they're both wrong. No difference.
