Well my girlfriend is approximately 15 years older than myself, I am male so I will explain it from a male point of view. It is not all that uncommon really, or that bizarre. Women on a whole always seemed quite insecure, confused and lost in their teens and twenties and even early thirties. This can be attributed to many factors, I blame most of it on the way the world puts such emphasis on beauty and superficial things. I do not wish to sound sexist, men have their share of issues as well, but in my case I was mature enough to know I wanted certian things in a woman, self understanding, self reliant and individuality. Without a need for any of the modern day "dating games". Bottom line a woman in her 40's or 50's is not all about making a nest or building friendships or trying to find herself...most likely she is as settled as can be. This makes for little drama, stable relationships and emphasis where it should be, on loving each other. This is just my personal experience, there is a lot more to it, but this is a quick summary. I always loved older women, and always will. Take care.

My man is 5 yrs younger than me..and for whatever reason i have always gone out with younger men. I dont think there is a problem with it as long as you are both mature enough and know what you want. if shes in her 50s then so what,,,she might still have it going on. He just know what he wants and probably finds her alot more mature,,and settled with her life. Age is just a number.

What is the problem, A 50 year old women needs love too. I know some 50 year old women that can compete with a 25 year old in every catagory, expecially in the money department.

Men do it all the time. All I can say is, "You go Girl"! I hope that I can pull them that young when I get into my fifties (that is if I'm not in a happy healthy relationship at that time).
