I live in the basement and I have a total of 3 windows which are extremely small. The ones in the study and the kitchen are 1 ft in height X 2 ft in length. The ones in the bedroom are 1 ft in height X 4 ft in length. These windows are located near the ceiling and not in the middle of the wall if that helps. Putting up regular sized curtains seem inappropriate and I'm scared it may overpower the look of the room. Not to mention it may look weird. What are some ways that i can cover up the windows for privacy reasons? Are curtains the only way to cover the windows and if so, what can I use? What are some alternative ways if there are any?

If you keep it simple by using a valance the small window will not be over dressed. Use a roman shade or blinds for privacy.

You can use plastic film. I have seen it in Home Depot.

(PRWEB via PR Web Direct) -- EtchArt has introduced a new line of decorative window films that transform ordinary glass sidelights into decorative panels that add privacy and a custom look to the front entrance.

Sharon Mosher owns D&S Unique Creations, a home décor store in Arizona. Before she found Wallpaper for Windows™, she had trouble offering help to customers who wanted more privacy or visual interest at their front door. She had carried adhesive-backed privacy film, but stopped because it was too hard to use. "Anything I would have trouble applying, I would have trouble selling," she said.

When she started carrying Wallpaper for Windows™ last fall, the problem was solved. "We have had so much positive feedback on this product in the short time we've carried it, it's amazing," she said.

well there could be two kinds of disorders, one could simply be bipolar, where one minute he's extremely happy, like euphoric, and the next minute hes the complete opposite, depressed, still, not moving, etc. the other disorder could be multiple personality disorder. you could play around more with this one because the boy could have more than two personalities. here the "other personalities" know about each other and the boy himself, but he doesn't know about them. you should watch Sybil to give you a better idea, she had many different personalities, including a little girl, a teenage boy, etc ps - in the 1800's they would believe that a person was possessed because psychology wasn't really known or "studied", and the mentally ill would often end up being tortured or killed hope this helped :)
