Have you tried the glasses without frames, they look wonderful.

Laser surgery is your answer, it's costy but worth every penny. Best thing I ever did 3 years ago, and my sight is perfect. It's not a painful procedure but slightly uncomfortable, you won't feel anything though. But that is coming from a woman who has given birth 2 times so nothing can be called painful after that, (don't worry just joking). Do some research and have a think maybe you will change your mind. I did it because I had always worn lenses and was told that it was starting to damage my eye vessels, wore glasses for 6 month but hated it and had laser surgery. I still can't recommend it enough to people.

no & I take it you mean the board at school? I had lenses at 13 & never had many probs. I have soft contact lenses - that's what most people have these days. You need to wait for your eyes to stabilise before you have laser or other surgery & by the time that comes surgery will have advanced so far they will perfect it. On the up side - you will never be long sighted or need reading glasses.

Go with the contacts, I wear them without problems just takes a day or two to get used to.
As for laser surgery, I wouldn't. There's currently no long term safety data ( ie15+ year studies) and I think it's quite telling that there isn't an eye surgeon in the country who's had it done to them

It can take a while to get used to wearing glasses. However, I've been wearing them for so many years that they are a part of who I am. If you find a good size and shape for your face they can actually make you look pretty great. Also consider coloured plastic frames they are cute and fun.

I wear the Focus Night and Day Contacts. You only have to change them every 30 days. They are an alternative to glasses. And you don't have to bother with taking them out every night and putting them back in every morning.

Laser eye surgery is the latest fad however my father in law had a book which gave eye exercises. I never read it and I don't know how good they are but I may be worth a bit of research

Would you rather be blind in later years, I think I would ware glasses all the time if I had to,Don't want to be blind when I get old.Besides if you ware them now you may not have to ware them later on as your eyes will get stronger,Its up to you!
