Is there a way to just get rid of them or do I have to do some crazy nacho macho bs?

no simply click on tools and then click on add ons a box will pop up and then click on uninstall on the plug-ins you don't want after you finish restart the browser and they should be gone

im not sure what you want to do, but uninstalling and reinstalling should do the trick.
