It has 241000 miles on it right now, everything is stock, except the stereo and speakers. I have had a few people ask me if I'm selling it since it is a drifting car. However, I would only do that if I got something descent out of it, because I love driving it, one of the best turning radius' i've ever driven. Also, one guy said if i put $5k toward an engine it might go for $20k+... really?

For starters, I would rebuild the engine, transmission, and rear differential. Then I would get some adjustable struts, and lowering springs (about 1-2"). Have the VIN etched in all your glass. Get a large brake kit installed, such as Brembo, or Wilwood. Have an ergonomic shift knob installed. By the way this car isn't worth much to someone interested in drifting unless it has a manual transmission. Make sure the E-brake works. This would be a great start.

240's are modded a lot for drifting. The engine he's talking about is the SRDET20 which is a Japanese made engine with a turbocharger. You'd have to do a little more work than just the engine -but yes they are popular cars and if you check out ebay you'll see a bunch of sup'ed up ones going for 10k+.

What would add the most value is to think new car. Do yourself a favor and go out and drive a new 350Z 6 speed 300 hp great looks and really handles too. You can actually have factory warranty. You have just about reached the end of the 240sx's lifetime
