are born this way, taught to be nice by parents, or just want to be nice because they are sensitive.

They are nice because they grew up with manners, that was taught by their parents, guardians and people who cares about this person, which is the right things to do. If you give kindness to someone else for sure it will come around.

No, nice people are people in whose lives the passion for evil is restrained by a higher power and placed in circumstances where people are nice. Whatever good qualities these come from an unseen power. It does not mean they are Christians, if this is what you are inferring. Nice people are also under judgement. Timothy McVeigh was a very nice person. Yet look at what he did. Anyone who knew him said the same thing. That he was an exceptionally nice young man. Too, especially in our day, people with a nice demeanor or appear to be nice people, if they are not in your presence for too long and can be studied are usually the ones that lend themselves to the most shameful evil because they are harder to detect. What everyones' idea of what a nice person should look like. See those things on the sides of your head? They're called ears. They're there for a reason. Use them. Also, people who use their color, or where they are from to do evil things are a type of the same thing. By now, we've seen much of that as well.

I think it's a combination of all of the reasons you gave.

Many are taught to be nice by their parents. My Mom and Dad were nice to just about everyone. We learned about charity and generosity from them. We also learned about it in school. I went to catholic schools. In our religion classes we learned about social justice and working on projects involving charity and community involvement.

These ideas and characteristics stay with me today. However, in my present job I meet up with some people that forces me to be REALLY nice even when I don't like the person! :)

They are taught to be nice. But I use to think this one person in high school was nice all thru high school But until I got to know her after high school & 11+ years later. Then I got to know the real them. And they weren't so nice anymore. It wasn't the real them anymore.

So I just think It was the parents who taught them to be that way. Cause it was just their parents who told them to be that way. Its until you go thru a trial with them that you really get to know who they really are. And if they will continue to like you or not.

They are nice because they've been taught to be. Empathy and kindness towards others must be introduced to a child by age 2.

i believe some people are raised that way, if you come from a very loving family, some people are nice because of sensitivity..but if you are nice in general then i believe you were born that way...

Our personalities are our own but the level of respect and kindness we treat others with is devolped through how our parents bring us up.
