It depends on the type of party--if there is going to be dancing and drinking, I usually go with my hair back in a ponytail (dress it up if you want by teasing your hair a little at the crown or adding fancy bobby pins) just so it doesn't get in the way or start to look bad as the night goes on.
If it's a less-active party, hair down is always good...when your hair is down and done, it's an easy way to look pulled together and dressed up!

Curly hair always turns heads, if you have long or medium hair have spirals going down. If you have short hair try swirling it with gel. Or if its a fancy party a bun might be more attractive/appropreiate. Have fun and remember that having confidence is really the best way to appear beautiful.

yes! I LOVE MY HAIR STYLE I get a lot of compliments...but my little secret: if i could i'd go 4 a chick mmowhawk, like the ones you brush up, kind like rheanna, but i'd do it almost white. ppl see me too much of a girly girl though and i'd get tired of the "we miss your pretty hair"

When you sort of scoop it up give it a bit of a twist and roll it over then clip a bit up then have a bit dangling down and then I would put a hat on. Hope this helps.

I absoloutely love poker straight, sleek, layered hair. Unfortunately mine will never sport that style as a) it is much too thick and b) without frying it to death I couldn't get it that straight. Nevermind!

for a party i think half up with lots of spiral curls at the front and at the bottom.
i aint got no pics as i dunno how to post them. sorry but i hope i helped.
its really easy to do. you might need curling tongs if you dont have curly hair.
