Where do seeds come from? Did God create the genetic code for every seed and encapsulate them?

And why did he make it so all those seeds evolved so much, why did God create so many hybrids?
If there is intelligent design, why did he create things to change according to how well they fit into the environment and whatever works best survives?

This is a chicken-or-egg question....but not all plants make seeds...so the fact is that some plants reproduce by other means..aka no seed was needed, even at the beginning.

Depending on your beliefs:

1. All plants were instantly created as they are now. Seeded plants from seeds or "original" plants, and non-seeding plants from "orginal plants". Just created and unchanging.

2. A few types of master plants families were created and subsequent diversification created sub types. Created, then evolved.

3. Plants come from ancient photosynthetic ancestors and continue to develop today. Prior to the Cretacious period, no plants were flowering, and thus there were no seeds. Classic evolution scenario.

Contrary to popular opinion, evolution and creationism don't inherently contradict each other - all life could have been designed to come from proto-organisms into the great variety of life we have today, or diversity has been there all along, but ongoing evolution allows for environmental adaption. One does not prevent/prove/deny the existence of the other.

If life did not have any abiltity to adapt, it would quickly die. If all plants died from freezing temperatures, vast parts of the world would become barren because of minor climactic variations. Even breeding plants is a kind of evolution...big, fast growing wheat is likely to make us want to grow it more. We are the key environmental factor in that scenario. Most life on Earth has the ability to adapt and change in response the environment, up to a certain point.

So if someone says that God pre-engineered all life to be able to adapt for its own survival, it is an opinion that is supported by some facts. (medicinal plants, frost hardy plants, creatures with perfect camouflage, interdependency of all species, seeds that only open after a fire, etc)

If someone else says that life just randomly evolves without any outside guidance, it is also an opinion that is supported by some facts. (useless/harmful biological mutations, randomly mutating diseases, vestigial organs, cancer, etc)

Like all things, in the end it is a matter of faith and your personal beliefs.

I prefer to look at the amazing variety of life that we have in today's world and not worry too much about their extinct ancestors...the laws and properties of life and the universe are what they are.

God is not willing that ANY should perish 2 Peter 3:9 God did use some in a negative way to show His glory but not because He didn't have plans for them later. Read Revelation about the resurrection of all who ever lived and see how the Bible talks about a first resurrection and second resurrection, a firstfruit harvest and a great harvest. God is NOT trying to save the world now! He's allowing mankind to write a history of sin and all its consequences so that no one will ever wonder throughout all eternity if there's any other way to live but God's way. His hands are off this world except for occasional interventions. II Cor. 4:4 says Satan is the god of this world because God has allowed him to 'help' man see exactly where sin leads--once for all time. Who says God knows what you or I are going to do? He told Abraham "Now I know..." when Abraham obeyed God in the most difficult of circumstances. Gen 22:12 That tells me He DIDN'T KNOW before that. Also it says Christ 'learned'--how is that possible if He was God (which He was)? Hebrews 5:8 God wants all to be saved but in time, not now! There are billions of people who have died and will die never even hearing of Him, how could He hold them responsible for their actions? And if there is such a thing as Truth, then all those different religious factions can't be right, can they? God is not less logical or caring than you are! He isn't through with this world or those that have died--not by a long shot!

God Our Lord is The Only Creator of all things. Gods Might and Power of creating things is even beyond human imagination. Only God creates all eggs and all seeds and from eggs brings up all living beings and from seeds brings up all kinds of plants and no one can do such mighty works. Even if creatures make eggs and seeds they will never be able to bring living beings and plants out of them because it is not the process of growing which lets every egg and seed grow but it is the Commandment of the Lord our God (Let it BE) which makes and enables them to become living beings and plants and that is not the limit of Gods Power of Creation; but God can create things without eggs and seeds. For example God created Jesus without a human seed by commanding (Let it BE). Before Jesus Our God created Eve and Adam and all things without eggs and seeds first time and then commanded them to lay eggs and produce seeds. So today what we see is the commanding situation of Gods Creative Power.
Even the whole universe with its collective knowledge cannot create a seed of anything or decide its sex and enable things to lay eggs or produce their seeds. God AlMighty keeps the knowledge of creation always possessed and does not allow the creatures to create.
Everyone knows that all sweets are made by the sweet-maker and this is how everyone believes in the maker of sweets but somehow some people do not believe The Creator of fruits while fruits are more complicated in creation, better than sweets in taste, flavour, appearance and use.
Those who believe in facts and think in a proper direction will never refute by believing in The Creator of fruits and all things. Sweets are also the creation of God because God made the sweet-maker and the knowledge of sweet making.
So dear friend come to the One Alone God and the message of the Prophets, perform good deeds and have faith in the Judgement Day for salvation, just like the Day of Beginning. The Day of End is approaching.
God will rescue all those who belong to God only and rest of the people will face the fire according to their chosen fortune. Those who choose faith in God choose the blessings of eternal life as their fortune.

It is sad that the entire argument for intelligent design is that life is much too complicated to have happened by random chance, little by little over hundreds of millions of years.

Unfortunately the believers in this ID garbage fail to see that their entire argument comes apart due to the fact that they jump to the conclusion that a infinitely more complex being came out of nowhere, got bored and created the universe.

He didn't create anything to evolve, man just made that up and millions of people follow it.

Genesis 1:21 So God created the large sea animals and every living thing that moves in the sea. The sea is filled with these living things, with each one producing more of it's own kind. He also made every bird that flies, and each bird produced more of its own kind.

vs.24 Then God said, "Let the earth be filled with animals, each producing more of its own kind."(there's more to this verse.)

See if there is evolution then those animals are no longer producing after their own kind, and if God needed the animals to reproduce He would have made them the way they needed to be to begin with.
