I cannot concentrate, I daydream, I do AWFUL until I leave. I work in a high paced environment and help people all day, I support systems which experience constant problems that are not my fault, people yell at me, the money is good but I am tired I want to leave I am going insane I need some motivation to stay here.

Please help. I cannot afford to lose this job. I am desperate.. this happens everyday at this time... please I hate this.

You could take a short acting dose of Ritalin 5- 10 mg or I've placed children on 72 mg of Concerta. You may also want to have your MD precribe Adderall or Straterra (both last longer)
If you don't want to go higher on your meds- consider getting up from your desk and taking a brief walk at this time- grab a cup of coffee or cola soda (caffeine actually works like Ritalin- methylphenidate). Can you take any of the work home? Do the best you can.

good luck

Well, prob. the BEST thing is not to stay there! you need a job with more physical activity, moving around, working independently...you will not be happy long term in a desk job. Can you search for aa different type of Job? would there be a possibility with the same company in a diff. dept? I believe medication for ADHD is appropriate, but not the entire answer...it can't do everything. Most adults with ADHD need to have more active type jobs. Good Luck

Talk to your doctor. Maybe you should take more of your medicine around this time, however you should consult your doctor first so you dont OD.

Or just try to busy your self with something so you dont have time to sit and daydream. Though Im sure that could be difficult.

Your best bet would be to talk to your doctor.
