I have two boxers and two litter of pups; boxers are a great dog but they have a lot of energy and are very strong; you have to respect your Dad and his wishes; give him some credit for knowing something ; there is plenty of time to get a boxer and I am partial since I love the breed; be patient for now so everyone will be happy when you do get a boxer. There are boxer rescues that need help to transport the animals to foster homes or need donations etc. Perhaps your Dad would be willing to bond with you to do something like that until you get your own dog. They are not cheap and sometimes prone to allergies, sensitive to heat and cold; high energy levels; your Dad is not saying no to be mean ; sit down with him and have a discussion ; start there so you will know the reasons why not. good luck

Why did you dad say no? because of the cost of the Boxer? If that is it then maybe you could work out an agreement with him to earn the money.

Not possible, you just cannot have the dog, and you
re dad will never let you have one if you go behind his back like that.

BEG. If that doesn't work listen to dad, or try asking for a different breed.

Try grass cutting. You can also try your local animal shelter. They have all kinds of dogs looking for adoption, and they are usually free.

Respect your father's decision and plan to get one when you are grown and out of the house :)

If you live with your dad then you don't get it.
If you live on your own, you don't need his permission.
