Sounds like you're hanging with people you're not happy with. Why not explore different venues. Different places, different people.
Explore other things of interest to you. What do you enjoy doing? Gym? Skiing? Blading? Cycling? Dirt biking? Computers? Reading? What do you like to do? When you make a list of things that interest you, check out community centres, clubs, etc., and join up. There are more people out there who are more like yourself. :-)
Surely, there are more types of people than those who just want your body. :p Good luck on that!

Well, you need to move here to FL then, because in my experience it's just the opposite (of course, it may be an age issue too...my friends are typically 30s and up) but the women I know, while occasionally having casual sex, tend to prefer to be in a relationship versus a "friends with benefits" situation or serial casual sex.
On the flip side, for the past 4 yrs, the majority of the guys I've gone out with, would tell me (after our first date) that they were really not wanting a relationship but a fwb instead.
But yeah, some people do still date...but it's also more acceptable now for people not to be in relationships, but so many dig sex that they often will make arrangements to at least have that desire covered, until they meet someone who knocks their sox off (romantically speaking).

Actually, I am on the receiving end of the "friends with benefits package". I just discovered that I will no longer will be engaged to someone because, well, he isn't for me; and myself and most other women feel, its not worth the hassle to try and be more than friends. I think I will continue to mingle(not necessarily sex involved), and do my own thing. I don't want to be a booty call, but I don't want a long term relationship anymore.

Hello
I think that girls are only just starting to play the game that guys have been playing for some time now.
It used to be that the guys were the "players" that couldn't be tied down to one girl.
Now we are striking back. We want what you guys have had all along. Freedom and a good time.
So what comes around goes around.

Hey there,
oh, yeah I feel the same. People only want to have x. But everything else is missing. People are having too much x and forgetting the emotions. The world is too crazy and fast running.

Not necessarily that people dont want relationships I think there are tons of people in relationships that I know but I think that dating in itself is a thing of the past. Thats sad its really nice.

No, I am experiencing just the opposite--all the women I meet want a serious relationship and are reluctant to give up the sex.
