i'm a girl, but i have done that before, and it means nothing. i didn't have any feelings for my ex, and you should not stress at all over it. if it really bothers you that much, confront her about it, but do not make a huge deal about it because 99.9% it means nothing at all except that its a nice gift she likes.

Not at all.
What they did, got, bought, or said before me is none of my business. Should she throw away every birthday gift that you didn't buy her? Hell no! You'll have to replace it. Can you afford that? Is she worth all that?
I personally don't let other people tell me what I can and can not own.
It is also a good practice not to talk about things you did in the past. Let sleeping dogs lay. The last thing you want is for someone you like to hold a past they had no part against you.
For instance, my ex bought me a $8,000 Breitling Watch. If a new honey ask me how I got it, I have a choice to tell the truth or lie. I personally would tell the truth. Reason, it is mine and in reality, how I got it is irrelevant. Don't ask questions and expect to hear the answer you want. By the way, if you saw this watch, you would keep it an wear it to.
Most important, that person is an ex for a reason. You are the new flavor of the month. Shut up and keep it movin.

A gift is a gift, not something that should be taken, or given back.

No, it's all in the past, don't fuss over it.
