I generally wait a while to understand the dog's temperament before naming as names and personality misfits are quite painful for the owners:) My friends had a Daschhound and they named him Tiger!!!!

Anyways, here are a few names: Milo, Cookie, Jonty, Foxtrot.

Good luck with the new pup and have oodles of fun! I have a mongrel and he is named "Caio Fabio Varela"

| think Havoc is an excellent name especially for a Jack Russel pup,if you look in the Queen's English dictionary it's meaning says:widespread destruction or disorder,Which I guarantee a new pup will bring.
By the way my dogs names are Chaos and Misfit and they definatly suit their names.

Give him a strong name like Zeus or Hercules or Cesar. Even Jack is a good name. Toby or Chip is too cutesy in my opinion. I like the idea of a big strong name for a little dog.

As you will discover, Jack Russell owners are renowned for choosing somewhat quirky names for this wonderful breed of dogs. They are superbly fiesty and independent little characters, although they have no concept of their diminuative size! Our first Jack was my favourite dog of all time, I named her Snurger and it suited her to a tee! Sadly she died 3-years ago, and left an unfillable void. However, her legacy was to leave a litter of her pups, who are now ten. We kept them all, and their names:
Boycie, Biff, Bosun, Bullseye, Norman and Minnie!!!
We also have a lovely 4-year old Rotty called Rubble, who is Biff's inseparable pal.
A few other names: Wowzer, Ratter, Tinker, Flash, Nibbo.
Good luck with your precious possession.

Reynard, Crevan, Russell or Todd.

Those are all names that mean fox ... think I like Todd best ... isn't a Toddy made with whiskey?, so it's brown & it gives you a warm glowing feeling inside ... which I'm sure is also true of your little one.

Something that you wouldnt think to name a dog but a cute name and if it for a girl look up a other name for love or something for her name something that will mean something later on down the road
