Are souls incapable of feeling bored? I'd hope so. Since you don't have a body, you won't be living, you will be a spirit, is their "mock" eating, "mock" love making? Is their responsibility for one another? What do you do all day? will their be Mock TV? Technology in heaven? do you just sit around and talk to god for an ETERNITY? An eternity?
Everything that lives is born to die. This is the only thing we know to be true. When you start getting into everlasting life and roaming spirits, you start making up fairy tales...admit it.
Why is living forever the greatest gift of all? Is that what you think it's all about? Waiting to die so you can really live, for eternity, much like a vampire? Dracula had the same mass appeal as Christianity for the same reason, do you wonder why?

Well it is really too bad that more people do not study their Bibles. If they did then they would know that when one dies that is the end of everything for that person on this earth, and that their thoughts cease, they stop, and they lie in their graves unaware of everything until the resurrection, whether the resection unto everlasting life or the resurrection unto everlasting death, from which there can be no resurrection, because God has caused them to be as if they had never been. We will have bodies in the new earth much as we have them today, only that death and the grave will have been destroyed along with satan and the rest of the wicked, and sin and sinners will never bother creation again.

When Jesus appeared in his glorified body(after the resurrection) to his disciples he ate real food... as for feelings, Jesus showed empathy toward his disciples and he did reinstate Peter...and was compassionate with Thomas.
one has a hard time grasping the idea of being in a glorified body - much less living outside of the realm of time and physics itself. According to scripture we don't roam around without bodies --- like in the movie "Scrooge: A Christmas Carol". We are told not to entertain(converse)with spirits/demonic forces --- because they are evil and of satan.
I don't spend my time just waiting to die - I live my life now but I'm antiscipating the time when I will be with the Lord and be like he is and get to know/meet all the believers who will also be with the Lord! I try to imagine it but my mind can't capture such splendor and not having to watch the clock (or be mindful of time) - that'll be awesome!!!
You mentioned something about a mass appeal for Dracula --- gee, I got so excited about the Lord's Kingdom! (nearly forgot)
Vlad was a terrible guy -

The biblical teaching is that we will be given a new incorruptible body. We will never again experience pain, death, suffering, hatred or war. There will be a new heaven and a new earth. Even thought of travelling and didn't get there? We can explore the new perfect earth and heaven for all eternity. Form pure and beautiful friendships with people from all ages who have gone to be with the Lord. Enjoy the beautiful creation of God and have pefect fellowship with our Creator. Sounds great to me. Better than the best holiday I can think of on earth and none of the sickness, death or accidents we have on earth to mess it up. We wont get old, we wont get hurt. We will be as we should have been before sin and suffering entered our world because of mans rebellion.
Sounds fabulous to me!

The idea of living forever has fascinated people for as long as the idea came into play. In my opinion the people who wish for immortality, and actually - seriously - want it, are cowards. Think about it...to become an immortal you don't ever face death, and therefore you don't face whatever lies beyond death...if there is something that truly exists beyond death. For some reason the idea of never dying has been glorified time and time again. People just need SOMETHING to believe in, (well, some people) or else... what else is life for?
Personally, I believe in the idea that humans live and they die, whether or not there is "life" after death is something to ponder, but not something to base my life upon. Ultimately, even using the word "life" for "life" after death is, to me, stupid. But we shall all find out sooner or later what is the truth...unless of course our conscious minds and souls do not matter when we die.

Save your vampire costume for halloween for they belong together with satan. Keep living the way you are and you will never get the chance to experience why heaven is so great. I will be praying for you.
The only persons that are going to die are those who refuse Jesus as their personal savior. Those who accept Jesus and be born again, and live according to the laws of God and repent of their sins daily will have eternal life. Praise the Lord!
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

so you'd rather believe that at the end of the road there is nothing but darkness and nothingness? sound pretty bleak to me! while alive, i'd rather believe in a fairy tale where everyone lives happily ever after. and lots of milk bone treats for all. now is that so bad? hehehe...

First of all, I don't think we are some spirit flying around. We will have a resurrected body of flesh and bones. What we will be doing, who knows, but I am certain we will be very busy, and therefore not bored. Not comparing us to God, but do you think he's bored also (assuming you think he is only a spirit)?

You will live eternally weather yo go to heaven or go to hell.
one is an eternity of peace and joy, the other is endless torment, your choice. But you will live forever, someplace.

think about everything that you love here on earth that god made. it took him 7 days to make that. he has been working on heaven so that he can eventually call us all up to be with him. if he is still working on heaven, and we dont know how many years he has worked on it, think about how great its going to be.
