I really like reading, and animals. Is there a saint for reading or promoted reading? Are there any other names for saints that liked animals other than Francis? And I also really like Russia if that would help. My name is Katherine Elizabeth. Please help me choose a confirmation name! Thank you.

You should read and learn about the saints. As you learn about them one will stand out among the rest. My daughter looked up saints on the internet until she found one that really touched her. She is taking her name...St. Gemma. You don't have to base it on your interests. Base it on the life of the saint...the things they did that touch you...that you can use as an example in your life. Hope that helps.

God bless,
Stanbo

well there are only a handful of Female saints, so if your going to pick a saints name that is going to limit you, even mores so given that your first name is already Katherine which knocks another name of the list. I do think that Katherine Elizabeth Rose has a nice sound to it.
