Yup, it will. The real question is going to be will they pay for the damage to YOUR car. That is going to depend on your policy, deductibles, damage etc. etc. etc.

You don't need to report it to anyone. Since you are a good, honest citizen I would think you would be able to negotiate a settlement with the other driver. Whatever you pay them will be more than 99% other drivers would get in a similar situation where people just blow it off. As to the cost, it's really hard to say. It's amazing what a little blemish can cost to get repaired. Good luck! Wish there were more people like you.

If you have full coverage, it will pay for the other person's vehicle and yours including any injuries both parties have. Liability will cover the other person's vehicle and any injuries they have. Oh, and any claims turned in to an insurance company will more than likely make your premiums rise. The amount is dependent on how much damage the collision caused. Hope this helps!

Yup it will pay for the otherpersons car hit in a parking lot. I hit my jeep with my wifes van in my driveway and the insurance paid for the damage, of course my insurance rates went up too.

Yes that is covered under the liability on your insurance, your car would only be covered if you have collision coverage.

Yes, you need to call your claims department and report the accident. You will need to know the information of the other driver. Chances are you will never be involved in the settlement, usually insurance companies contact each other and work it out.

of course not. Cause your insurance is for you...not for them. If they did pay for what people did, then they would be bankrupt already. Oh yeah, good luck in court
