This is just another classic story of the girl who's healthy and beautiful but needs to lose a little weight for an important event, and who is ready to do whatever. I have a really important event 10 days from now (which involves bathing suits), and I want to lose as much weight as possible, or maybe look like I had. I tried South Beach diet, but I find it horrible to eat only meat and fat and such. So I was wondering if eating only fruits and vegetables and maybe a diuretic will help me look better in 10 days? What to you think I should do?

I'm 18, I weigh 110 pounds and am 5'3ish. I know I'm ok and healthy and that I need to do more exercise etc. But please help me with this and give me some advice. Maybe a crash or fad diet will help? And I know that with fad diets you gain everything back, but I plan to start with a healthy plan after my event.

And what about eating vegetables all day and some protein (chicken, fish) like during lunch and dinner? What do you think the results will be? And only vegetables?

You could try Beyonce's diet also known as the master cleanse. It's basically:

2 Tablespoons lemon or limejuice (approx. ½ lemon)
2 Tablespoons genuine maple syrup (Not maple flavored sugar syrup)
1/10 Teaspoon cayenne pepper (red pepper) or to taste
8 oz water (room temperature)

Combine the juice, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper in a 10 oz glass jar w/lid and fill with the water. Shake it up and drink. (Cold water may be used if preferred.) Use fresh (organic) lemons or limes only, never canned lemon or limejuice nor frozen lemonade or frozen juice.

Follow the diet for a minimum of 10 days or more— up to 40 days and beyond may be safely followed for extremely serious cases. The diet has all the nutrition needed during this time.

better than starving yourself, but you'd be better off eating veggies and lean protien (chicken, fish). Fruit has a ton of sugar which isn't great for you in large amounts. Drink a ton of water as well.

The bad news is that you can really only lose 2-3 pounds in 10 days - even if you starve yourself. The good news? At 110 pounds, 3 pounds makes a big difference.

Acquire smaller plates. Little crockery means portion control is quite a bit easier – those diminutive portions suddenly look huge and you’ll be happier to take less.
