Your Tryin To Compare Oranges And Pineapples
Political Asylum Is Not ILLEGAL Immigration
Mexico Is A Free Democratic Nation
Mexicanos Do Not Qualify For Political Asylum
Cubanos Are Oppressed By A Communist Government
If They Escape Cuba And Make It To US Territory
They Are Granted Refugee Status
American policy,
which is commonly referred to as
the "wet foot, dry foot" distinction,
returns Cuban refugees if they are intercepted at sea
and cannot demonstrate a fear of persecution.
If they can demonstrate such a fear,
the United States will seek haven for them in a third country.
But Cuban refugees who reach American soil
become eligible for permanent residency in a year.
Many Cubanos Become US Citizens
While Many Others Retain Their Cuban Citizenship
And Live In The US As Political Refugees
If The Castro Regime Ever Falls
Most (Many) Cubanos Will Return To Their Nation
To Work In The US
A Political Refugee Must Have A Work Visa (Green Card)
There Are An Estimated 15 - 18 Million ILLEGAL Mexicanos
There Are NOT NEARLY That Many Cubano Refugees
New Year's Day, 1985
marked the twenty-sixth anniversary
of Castro's ascent to power in Cuba.
In the 25 years since New Year's Day 1959,
Dade County served as the gateway to America
for approximately 0.75 million Cuban refugees.
( Three Quarters Of A Million, Or 750,000 )
The 1980 decennial census reported
that there were 607,800
Cuban-born residents of the United States.
With the addition of 125,000 Mariel refugees,
the total by 1984 is close to three-quarters of a million persons.
Approximately 425,000 of these (57 percent)
are residents of Dade County.
The decennial census counted 325,000
Cuban-born residents of Dade County in 1980,
and it is estimated that about 100,000
of the Mariel refugees settled or resettled in Dade
in the early 1980's.

To The Mexican Invasion Of 3 Million Per Year Since 1986

"Why" or "What"? Cubans are fleeing a repressive communist regime that will put you up against a wall and shoot you for your poor grammar. Why do you think they try to float over here through shark infested waters on mattresses? THEN - they have to reach dry land ON THEIR OWN or we ship 'em back where they are undoubtedly put up against a wall and shot.
Read your History - at least Google it - and recognize the differences. Only if you have the correct information are you allowed to espouse an opinion.
And just how many times are you going to change your stupid name?

Mainly because its the only only country that's connected to the U.S. and the easier way to sneak into the country. Most Cubans who enter the U.S. try to seek political asylum-while other illegal can't.
