Haggard is a self-righteous, bigoted, gay hating bastard that lied to 14K people in his congregation. If he did not steal money, the rest is not really all that illegal--the drug thing is only criminal if caught, and pretty much same for hiring the man wh or e. If nothing else, however, he must live with his conscious. That is a far worse punishment than any jail time.
Four questions and answers
Know why he had to pay? He was too old and ugly to get it for free.
Know why he had to use drugs to enhance sex? He was too old to get it up without the stimulant.
Know why he is so disgusting? He was doing on a regular basis all the things he was preaching against.
Do you know why I can't stand hypocritical liars? They give all honest religious fundamentalist hypocrites a bad name! Well, hell, no one's perfect, but all fundamentalists do a good job of making perfect a**oles out of themselves, and give all of Christianity a black eye!

Ordinary people should be punished, but Haggard and other devout lovers of morality should be applauded for helping homosexuals and drug dealing minority groups, to make a living.

He is not a disgrace to Christians - he is a perfect demographic and shining example of what is wrong with your religion. It causes people to hate, repress their true feelings, and to deceive others. Congrats for that....

He deserves to face the law. But, the law doesnt provide much for meth purchasers unless caught red handed.... And, being gay, as much as most Christians would like it to be, isnt YET a crime....

Face the law for what? His sexual acticities, while loathesome, were perfectly legal. And the matter of his having drugs is heresay. He wasn't arrested with drugs on his person, so there is no physical evidence.

He needs to spend some time in jail. But the way celebrities get out of trouble, I don't know. He will have to answer for what he did sooner or LATER.

It would be hard to prove in court and a pretty minor charge of possession and maybe solicitation so he walks.
