I don't understand why when one christian does something bad, everyoned needs to know about it. We're all sinners. We're all capable of molesting children or homosexuality or murder or what have you, so why doesn't everyone just learn to forgive and forget? (especially Christians...!!!!)

We should follow ted's church. They are all ready to forgive him, because Jesus would fogive him too. Or what about the amish shooting a while back? The entire community immediately forgave the man and his family, and went to be with the family in their time of need. So why all the hate?

I admire the people of Ted Haggard's church in their commitment to forgive their pastor. I also was in admiration of the forgiveness and strength the Amish showed during their time of grief. As a Christian I do struggle with forgiveness sometimes when a person judges others and then falls, but I do believe it is best to forgive, and try my best.

Everyone is capable of sinning, you're totally right. But here's the problem: Christians are often the first ones to criticize OTHERS for sinning. They have no business telling other people how to act when they can't even get their acts together themselves. Throughout his entire public career, that Haggard guy condemned people who have homosexual relationships, and then we find out that he had one himself. He's a hypocrite in every sense of the word... and this is a guy who makes a living telling people how to act!

No one cares that they sin; we care that tell OTHERS not to sin and then commit those same sins themselves.

This man ranted and raved about the "sinfulness" of homosexuals, and he did it while knowing that he was doing many of the same things he was condemning, plus more. He's a hypocrite. It's just that he should be condemned for his hypocrisy and prosecuted for his drug crimes.

One doesn't have to pretend to be perfect to hate injustice. What this man did was wrong. I wouldn't hang him from the nearest tree, but I believe his exposure was a good thing.

i agree with you 100%.

we still live in a close minded society, where people of all religions [especially islam, and christianity] seem to hate ionstead of love. they interperet the bad verses and not the good. it's sad.

to forgive someone is really hard to do but it really depends with the person.yeah,God forgiving us if we just ask for forgiveness and He's ready to give it. those people who forgive those who have sinned to them are the people who believes and loves God.

Forgive I agree with, but dont forget. Unless that person has repented fully, you should not forget what they have done, jsut forgive them for it.
