get into a casual conversation with him and then ask if he wants to hang out on a wkend to see some exhibit or some performance or special event that is going on during the wkend.

It's pretty easy. Say you're going to get coffee, just ask him if he wants to come along or meet you there. Or bring up a movie you want to see (even though, I don't suggest movies for dates). Don't make the date an event about getting together, just make is casual. That way, if you decide you're not in to him, you can bail (be advised that he can too).

do listen to those jerks....i know for a fact that it is hard to ask some1 out. (i've been trying for a week.) well if you know 100% that he likes you then it is all about getting the courage to ask him at a good time, or you could drop noticeable hints that you like, him. that way he askes you, and there is less pressure on you.

Step one: Look up his phone number.
Step two: Dial
Step three: Hang up when he answers cuz you are too scared to talk to him.
Step four: Dial and speak to him this time.
Step five: Ask him if he wants to hang with you one night this weekend...that way if he is busy Friday, maybe he will offer Saturday.
