I think the media has a lot to answer for and some political leaders! They're whipping up frenzies!

Of course I would still be friends with someone if they were Muslim....that has nothing to do with anything. People really need to understand that Islam is a peaceful religion.

It's extremism in any religion, or in fact, in anything in life that causes problems.

If I were a Muslim I would be thinking that everyone was against me because of how Muslims are portrayed and how pockets of trouble are hyped up in the newspapers.

It's time everyone got things in perspective and we can all go on with our lives in peace.

I'm not sure of the religious reason, but I know that people often connect Islam and the Muslim religion to terrorists. They see the Sunni muslims wreaking havoc in the middle east and just group all of the muslims together.

i am gay, so i do look down on some muslims because lots of muslims are homophobic. however, if a muslim is willing to accept me for who i am, i will be more then happy to be theri friends.

muslims are looked down upon because of 9/11, and shar'iah law.

I guess its because Islam may consider other religions as false religions.Or it could be because your not of Islamic faith and you believe it is false. Why would I not remain friends?
