Cut down on your portions and eat more small meals throughout the day. Exercise at least 20 minutes a day 3 times a week. Other than that you just need to give it time. It can take a couple of weeks before you start to notice a weight loss. Keep in mind - that from the exercise you're toning up and developing muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat but is compact. So you may actually gain weight but trim down if that makes any sense. Don't give up - lots of luck!!!

Go out, eat a burger, laugh with friends, get a large ice cream with oreos. Excercise, don't watch too much TV, drink lots of water, stay off the internet, go mack with a guy.

Be 14 for God's sake. Worry about diets when you're 30.

Drink lots of water. Since I have a hard time doing this, I fill a water bottle and drink from it. Then I know I need to drink 4 of these to get in my 8 glasses for the day.

Try to eat more veggies fruits and high fiber foods.

Honestly 79 pounds does not sound heavy for a 14 year old to me. But, eating healthier and drinking lots of water is good even you aren't trying to loose weight....plus it helps keep your skin clear!
