Okay, definitely one of the most random questions I have read. I am Armenian, and I have never heard of "Armenians" living in the Silicon Valley. That is a predominantly white area. However, the reason why a lot of Indians and Pakistanis live there is because a majority of their population has an education background in engineering and/or computer science. Because Silicon Valley is somewhat of a mecca for people with this background, a majority of them congregate there.

Because they are skilled. Over time they are likely to be a net financial gain in taxes above costs.
Most illegals are unskilled and uneducated and will never pay in taxes what they and their families take out in education funds and other services.
