Cut down on your portions and eat more small meals throughout the day. Exercise at least 20 minutes a day 3 times a week. Other than that you just need to give it time. It can take a couple of weeks before you start to notice a weight loss. Keep in mind - that from the exercise you're toning up and developing muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat but is compact. So you may actually gain weight but trim down if that makes any sense. Don't give up - lots of luck!!!

Weight Watchers!! If you are really serious about loosing weight, this is the plan. The meetings are so helpful and I did the flex plan. I lost 20 pounds in 2 months by a strict regimen and I have kept if off! I lost it about 3 years ago and I feel great!!!

Good luck!

I tried the South Beach Diet. I lost 14lbs in the first 2 weeks. No carbs and sugar. Then reintroduced myself into good carbs. Lost 1-3 lbs a week. Went from 138lbs to 115 in about 3 months. I recommend you try it.

I lost 40lbs in 4 months, I changed my eating habits. Stopped going to fast-food resturants. Eating lowfat yogurt or no fat yogart. stopped munching on chips. We don't allow them in our house. Took the route with fewer fast food places to look at. Left 10 mins later for work so I didn't have time to stop. I eat dry toast, cut myself down to 4 slices of bread a week. I also started cutting down the stress in my life. I am a deprestion eater, so I started looking at what made me eat and worked on cutting it out of my life. Cut way down on my sugar, I also read alot of books. I started using sprays instead of butter or oils. I also took one day a week to eat what I wanted. But I still kept my calories lower. I still eat my candy bar, but i eat the small one. you can do it. just don't call it a diet. That word makes you quit. You're just making healty choises. 1lb lost is better than 1 gained. It's still a battle for me. It is an addiction. Look at whats making you fat and cut that out of your life. You should also walk. I didn't I will be now cause the weather is cooler.

Working hard and not eating properly.

But don't do it, it screws with your metabolism because now that the work load is slowing down at work the weight is coming back and I don't eat a lot.
