You need a program to convert the .ppt to a movie file. Some software will give you jerky transitions and animations. I use PPT2DVD and get good, smooth results. You can use their demo but it will leave a watermark. I do presentations as a side job so I bought the program. It was worth the money..... p.s. It will put a load on your computer so you will need alot of RAM and/or bus speed...... it will not play on your DVD player by just dragging and dropping. You need the conversion program.

Jsut take the powerpoint file and drag and drop it into the DVD and also it's better to put it on a CD instead.
