Especially my thighs hurt. Maybe I am not getting enough water? Or I am not eating properly. I live in a noisy apartment unit and I am sensitive to noise so it is hard for me to fall asleep. I feel like I am losing it mentally too. Can't stand the random bangs in here. Poorly insulated for sound.

When I was younger my legs hurt really bad and I hated any noise when I was in bed. You might have pressure on your lower spine and you need to see a physiotherapist like a friend of mine or like me you should see a doctor to discuss depression.Once I started to take meds my legs never bothered me since unless if I've been off of them for a while and I'm tired then that's when they hurt real bad.
Try ear plugs and one of those night visors(that go over your eyes) or what ever it's called to keep some of the lights out .You never mentioned about energy levels during the day if you always seem tired then you might have serious problems. What it is that you may be laking in your serotonin levels that controls every thing from sleep to motivation to even happiness.
Water intake or eating properly is not the problem what your doing is what any person who knows something is wrong but can't put there finger on it is doing and that is why AM I like this and how do I snap out of this.
Phantom pain and sleep is two of the sure signs your suffering and I know how much you are suffering. So don't be embarrassed about going to a doctor and talking about this I was embarrassed but relieved when he explained every thing to me and gave me a script of Prozac. I really hope i'm wrong but if I'm right then your going to have a long road of recovery ahead of you but maybe your like my friend that I mentioned and it's only your spine causing pressure on a nerve cuasing you to have sore legs.

Yes and no, some nights I go to bed at 8:30PM others 9PM because I have Epilepsy (a seizure disorder) and I need to get my sleep or else I will have sleep deprivation. On weekends I sleep in as late as I can that would be 7:30AM.

Yeah, try getting more sleep. Maybe take a nap during the day, or just having some relaxing time during the day.
