Wrong type of pot you're thinking of. This would fall under another category, not gambling.

A lifelong smoker that quits will not go through any physical withdrawal symptoms therefore it is not addictive. The quitter may, however, THINK they need it because they are accustomed to it and enjoy it. This is why some people are saying it's mentally addictive, which I guess could be true, but if something is mental, then it's all in your head to begin with.
Bottom line = not addictive.

I don't think it's physically addicting, but it can be mentally addicting. Meaning people like the way it makes them feel, and they want to keep feeling that way, so they keep doing it.

While marijuana can certainly be habit forming - Perhaps it's always what a person does with certain friends, or someone just finds it so enjoyable that they see no reason to quit - there is no medical evidence to suggest it's physically addictive.

Some say yes and some say no. There's no hard evidence that it's addicting in the same sense that, say, heroin or morphine are addictive.

my understanding is it's mentally addicting , meaning you don't need it, but you just like it so you submit your self to engaging yourself to do it. But if you never done it do not try it, it can mess your life up.
