I am no longer talking to my now ex boyfriend, and I know that he desires to be with someone else, but why does he keep trying to flirt with me, ask me questions pertaining to relationships, and insist that I still want to be with him? When I mention the same things to him he tells me that "it's none of my business" or that "I should move on with my life". It feels like he is stringing me along, and it feels like he is sending mixed signals. I am certain that I don't want to be with him, and I am happy now than I have ever been, but why do I feel bad about my breakup with him? If he doesn't like me, why does he keep trying to act like he does? Why can't he move on like he tells me to? Aarrrgh! I am so mad! Please help! (I can take honesty so please bring it!)

men are pompous bastards with sensitive egos. they need to feel like all women want them. even though he doesn't want you, he wants you to want him. if you are happier without, i would just cut him off completely.

because it makes him feel better knowing that his ex is still into him. he has no right to tell you to move on. you should do it at your own pace. as long it doesn't affect other things in your life, i would take all the time you need. but ask yourself this question:
"do you think he thinks about this as much as you do?"
